「미국의 주구(走狗)가 되길 열망하는 인도」  

India aspiring to become US proxy

☛ 이 기사는 인도를 ‘주적’으로 보는 파키스탄 주류 언론의 입장을 담고 있다. 지난달, 6월 15일 히말라야 국경 분쟁지역인 라다크(Ladakh)지역의 갈완 계곡(Galwan Valley)에서 중국–인도 간 소규모 접전이 벌어졌다. 40여년 만에 처음으로 발생한 양국 간 전투였다. 이 전투로 인해 인도측은 병사 20명이 사망하고 중국측은 43명의 사상자가 발생했다. 이 기사는 ‘도발의 책임자’로 인도를 지목하며 중국과 파키스탄의 연결을 막고자 하는 인도의 ‘개수작’으로 파악하고 있다.

아무래도 유대–아메 제국의 입장에서 보면, 카슈미르 지역의 뿌리깊은 분쟁은 인도를 내세워 파키스탄으로 이어지는 중국 경제권의 확산을 차단하는 것은 물론 친중적 외교노선을 견지하고 미국에 비협조적인 파키스탄을 괴롭힐 수 있는 확실한 지렛대가 분명하다. 유대–아메 제국이 중국을 전쟁의 벼랑으로 몰기에 이곳만큼 훌륭한 곳도 찾기 힘들 것이다. 남[동]중국해, 티벳, 신장–위구르 지역 그리고 카슈미르 지역이 중국을 쪼개기 위한 4대 균열선이다.        

사건 개요

On 15 June 2020, a violent face-off/ occurred (between Chinese and Indian soldiers) (at the disputed border area at Galwan Valley in Ladakh), resulting in the death of 20 Indian soldiers. While China/ did not announce/ its casualty number, India/ alleged/ [that 43 Chinese soldiers/ were injured or killed]. Both sides/ blamed/ the other party (for instigating/ the fight), and have deployed/ additional troops (to the border area).

Webinar was hosted by the Devcom-Pakistan and DTN Director Munir Ahmed.
